Dr. Ling Xia Liao is currently a full professor at the School of Electronic Information and Automation, Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, and she also serves as adjunct professor/distinguished professor/graduates’ supervisor at Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and Quanzhou University of Information Engineering.Dr. Liao got her Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronic Technology, Tsinghua University, China, master degree in software systems of the University of British Columbia(UBC), Canada, and successively read her Ph.D degree at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UBC, and the Department of Electrical Engineering of the National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan, under the supervision of Professor Victor Leung, fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Professor Han-Chieh Chao, principle of National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan.Dr. Liao also serves as a Provincial-level Distinguished Expert of Ningxia Government, a member of editorial committee of the Chinese core journal "Industrial and Mining Automation”, she has been selected as a Foreign High-End Expert (Class A) by the State Administration of Foreign Affairs, she is an IEEE senior member.Dr. Liao has actively engaged in the research of high-performance computing, cloud computing, big data, computer networking, and software-defined networking. She was the general manager of the department of high-performance server in the Inspur Group (Ranked No. 11 in China's Top 100 electronics companies), the largest cloud computing company in mainland China.Dr. Liao has presided over four research projects in Canada (three of them were funded by NSERC, one by MITACS), four national-level projects in China (one National Natural Science Foundation of China, one China-Canada and one China-US science and technology cooperation project, and one National high-level foreign talent program). She has applied for 10 Chinese invention patents (6 granted) and 2 computer software copyrights, published more than 40 SCI/EI indexed papers, and co-authored one monograph.

廖灵霞，女，博士，教授，硕士生导师，IEEE高级会员，清华大学电机工程与电子技术系毕业，加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学软件系统硕士，先后在加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学电气与计算机工程系、台湾东华大学电机工程学系攻读博士学位，师从加拿大三院院士Victor Leung教授和台湾东华大学校长赵涵捷教授，现任桂林航天工业学院电子信息与自动化学院专职教师，江苏科技大学计算机学院兼职教授、硕士生导师，桂林电子科技大学电子信息与自动化学院硕士生导师，泉州信息工程学院特聘教授，宁夏自治区人民政府特聘专家，中文核心期刊《工矿自动化》外籍编委，入选国家外专局外国高端人才（A类）。廖博士长期从事高性能计算、云计算、大数据、计算机网络、软件定义网络的研究，曾任中国大陆最大云计算企业--浪潮集团（中国大陆电子百强企业第11位）高性能服务器总经理，在王恩东院士的直接领导下，主持浪潮高性能服务器产品线的开发，两次获中国国家科技进步二等奖。廖博士先后主持加拿大国家自然科学与工程NSERC研究项目三项，加拿大MITACS项目一项，主持中国国家级项目四项（国家自然科学基金项目一项；科技部中国-加拿大，中国-美国重大科技合作项目各一项；科技部高端外国专家引进计划一项），申请中国发明专利10项（已授权6项），计算机软件著作权2项, 发表SCI/EI索引论文40余篇, 合作出版专著一部。
