Guilin University of Aerospace Technology

Address: No 2, Jinji Road, Guilin, Guangxi, China

Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, founded in 1979, was once affiliated to the Seventh National Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry and the China Aerospace Industry Corporation. In April 1999, the school was transferred to Guangxi to implement the management system of "co construction between the central and local governments, focusing on local management". The school was upgraded to a undergraduate institution in 2012 and was added as a bachelor's degree authorized unit in December 2015. There are currently 19634 full-time students on campus, including 17993 undergraduate students.

The school has 16 teaching units and 36 undergraduate majors. The professional layout is highly consistent with the "14+10" modern industry in Guangxi, the strategic emerging industry supported by the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, and the national aerospace industry. The school takes moral education and talent cultivation as the fundamental principle, focuses on the cultivation of applied talents, highlights the cultivation of students' aerospace quality, and establishes a "applied talent cultivation approach" with "123456" as the main content. The school has been approved by the Ministry of Education's "New Engineering" research and practice project, as well as 29 collaborative education projects between industry and academia. There are currently 2 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 11 autonomous region first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 4 Guangxi characteristic majors and experimental training teaching bases (centers), and 20 first-class undergraduate courses in Guangxi.
